BRIEF

For their latest episode of Who's Interviewing Who? Uninterrupted and McDonald’s teamed up to host a three-way conversation between rapper Killer Mike, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, and WNBA player Candace Parker to discuss race and social justice in America. Due to the pandemic, the speakers were located in different parts of the country and communicated over the internet in real time. To film Killer Mike's side of the conversation, a solution was needed that did not involve an in-person film crew.

PRODUCTION

Motivo Media deployed one of our 2-camera Remote Production Kits to Killer Mike’s home and guided his assistant with clear instructions to easily set up the equipment. From our offices in Seattle, the Motivo team remotely controlled the cameras and lighting while also monitoring the audio throughout the production. We established a separate channel of communication with Uninterrupted to address any needs that arose during filming. Killer Mike was able to see and hear the other speakers live on his laptop while conversing with them. After the interview concluded, we coordinated return shipping and shared all assets for post-production.

 
 
 

 

RESULT

The video was a huge success, receiving over 500,000 views on YouTube and generating significant engagement from viewers.
